General Updates

• The Discord link has been fixed so that it doesn't expire
• Bluesky and Twitter links have been added
• Japanese character profiles have been developed for each character so that during revisions more consistent dialogue may be achieved
• A private Wiki may be set up for the translation notes and character profiles
• We have reached 20 downloads and the most downloads per day (4)

Version 0.02 is a Rough Draft

As has been noted, there are many problems with 0.02, including but not limited to:

• First and second person pronoun inconsistencies that can sometimes be jarring
• Translations that are very literal and thus may not make sense in a Japanese cultural context
• Formal and informal speech patterns sometimes being observed in the same sentence
• Pronoun or subject overuse that sounds unnatural

These are being worked on for the next version, but at the moment progress is slow. Hopefully, more people will come onboard in the near future to assist in the translation so that we can achieve better results.

The Discord is the best place to discuss the translation, but you will be able to reach me by ping on Twitter or Bluesky. I ask that you respectfully refrain from debates about AI or machine translation.
